Building a house

Lifelong Contractor and I'm building my final home and making every effort. I have designed my lighting system utilizing DMX in lieu of RF. RF is a hand grenade while DMX is a sharp shooter. Most rooms will have RGBW with a couple of zones and I'd like at least 4 scenes per room. I'm still young enough (barely) to appreciate red lighting on weekends :-) Next to full darkness, red is the sexiest color for old people

I've learned a lot (possibly enough) to get the job done but I would like to ask an occasional question. There is a plethora of beautiful glass touch screen controllers/switches that can be confusing and I'll also need to ask some questions so I don't overload channels.

Can I ask these type of questions in this forum and where should I go?

Thanks
MeCasa

We unfortunately do not propose glass touch screen controllers.
So this forum may not be useful for your needs.
Sorry for that.

Being a contractor myself. Most Home Automation solutions have some sort of DMX module that you can program to do complex scenes.
If you are only using colored led strips then they have modules dedicated for those without the complication of DMX.
Have a look at the Smartbus range of products. https://www.smarthomebus.com/

Hope that helps.
