builder with trackspots [moved]

I'm having trouble building light shows with 12 trackspots. Somewhat new to this. I am currently using v5 of showxpress with chauvets x-force. I have labeled all my fixtures and have them configured in the 3d mode. I was able to build one scene where i only spotlighted a couple places in my space, but in order for it to show, i had to have all the lights on a basic white spotlight. After i configured that scene i wanted to create another and when i opened builder i was unable to configure any of the lights. the gobo, shutter, or color channels did nothing when i modified them. has this ever happened to anyone? I used a tutorial online but it was unable to help me. i even renamed the fixtures and recreated the 3d mode. and now the first scene wont work unless i use the white spotlight scene first. any suggestions? I would really appreciate them. I am kinda new to this and would appreciate any responses.

It is possible to convert your V5 show for V6 software.
