Is the Sweetlight SSA (... or Chauvet Showxpress Plus) compatible with MAC OSX?

If it's not natively compatible, are there any modifications/drivers that can be downloaded to make it work?

I contacted Chauvet while waiting for a response on this forum and asked:

"Is the (discontinued) Chauvet Showxpress Plus (rackmount) compatible with MAC OSX?"

They replied:

"Unfortunately the unit isn’t compatible with any Mac unit. If you have any other questions please, feel free to contact me.

So -- who's correct?

I assume the SSA and the Chauvet Showxpress Plus are the same unit, just with different logos, correct?

If I have to dual boot into Windows, I can, but I'd like to avoid that if possible.

Le SSA fonctionne sous MacOS.
Il existe un organisme qui fait des formations SweetLight en France. On vous envoie un MP avec les coordonnées.
