Remote Keeps Losing PC Link

Hello.

Looking for some help with a Remote unit I purchased from Terralec this week.

Client has it plugged in to his Panasonic CF52 Toughbook [his laptop of choice for simple tasks like lighting] running 32bit win 7.

The remote unit runs fine, most of the time, but randomly the PC Link lamp will go out and DMX activity stop. It's a real show-stopper (literally).

Not had any problems with other interfaces of this nature (DMXIS/DASLIGHT) on the machine concerned - just this Remote unit.

Is this a known issue that can be fixed, or a return and refund job before we plough hours into it?

Borrow another laptop and test it... Just an advice

Can be that the power of your laptop is too weak, try using an usb hub with external power
