Hi I've just dusted off the unit after not using it for a few years. Downloaded the latest software for pc.
The effect I'm creating using the generator is for a flame effect using 3x generic rgb fixtures. I'm using the generator to make a 6 pulse red and green for orange with added blue flicks. Running on pc is fine with the remote connected via usb to the lights, however when I add the generator to a standalone channel and run the controller without pc it can only be described as as going from a smooth 16 bit operation to a 8 bit. The lights fade more and isn't as smooth. Do you have any suggestions? I suspect the unit is minimum 4 years old so may need a firmware flash for newer software?
Thanks, Chris

Yes, the standalone mode does not manage 16bits fades.

Sorry about that.

That's not really a great thing to hear for something as expensive as it was, you also lack to fully explain this serious pitfall in hardware processing openly... not overly happy.... looks like I'll just use it as a door stop
