The Lighting Controller

I am using the d512 interface, with showexpress and running a chain of 3 slimpar56's followed by 2 slimpar 64's, then another 3 slimpar 56's (8 lights total). The lights are labeled d1, d8, d15, d22, d29, d36, d43, d57. Despite the fact that that no shutter command is given, my seventh light (labeled d43 in the chain) will turn on with any color command nor will it respond to any strobe command. Any idea what my problem would be. On another note, my eigth light is labeled d57 because I previously had the same light labeled d50, and was experiencing the same problem with it. It would turn on without it's shutter being on in the editor. So I moved it to d57 only to have the same problem now on my seventh light.

The first thing most will ask is if you are using a DMX terminator.
Next? I am inclined to check the menu settings on the fixture. After that? bypass all the other pars and go directly to d57 and see how it behaves.
If it is good ten you have a cable or DMX in/out on fixture giving you a problem.
Try out these suggestions and let me know what happens.

Check if the cables has correct internal conections... (that was a problem for me in my last event...)
