The Lighting Controller

I have a question about sweetlight. A customer of ours as installed sweetlight on his computer. The only thing he is using it for is to switching light’s on and off. There is no preset. The pc link of the dmx-box automaticly disconnects after 4 weeks. The customer has to restart sweetlight and then it works fine again. Exact every 4 weeks it happening over and over again. My question to you is, what am I doing wrong? Can you help us with this problem.

Generally, when there is a problem, it happen much more oftenly.

I have made the same setup as by the costumer.
We have putted the system on at : 16-03-12. At 12-4-12 the controlboard was frozen and the lights are turned off.
Also the pc-link is gone after this period.
The version we use is 6.26.
Would it help if we installed the new version (6.29)?
Or is there a other solution?

There are many source code change from V6.26 to V6.29, so it make sence to try with V6.29.
Moreover, we do not support old software versions.

Anyway, our problem is until we can not reproduce your problem, it would be very difficult to fix it (in case of still existing with V6.29).

If there is really a problem, there should be a way to speed up the crash event.
