Driver Search

Postby Robin96 » 30 October 2013, 19:09

good evening

I bought the DMX cable. Now I have the problem as soon as I plug in the USB connector to the computer (Windows Vista). The PC does not detect the driver. Thus, the communication between software and light effect does not work.
Where can I download the driver?
(Sorry for my English, Google translator :)

The software is supposed to auto-install the driver.
However, if for an unknown reason it is not installed, you can find the driver files here: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=114

This post might also help you: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2111

@Robin96.
If you are using Vista 64 bit, I think that will be your problem.

Good Evening

Thanks for our Help.I was able to successfully instalation driver thanks to the instructions on my fixed computer (Windows 7, 64 bit, and it all worked.
On my laptop (Vista 64 bit) does not work the whole, however. There always comes the error message that the driver has been found but it could not be installed.
Do you have a tip to me again?

@JohnRichards: then what is the problem with windows vista 64 bit?

Thanks!

Good evening again

Is there then any solution regarding Windows Vista 64bit? The program runs it, but if I want the driver instalation, a window will appear:

"It was found driver software for the device, but at the instalation an error occurred. If you know the manufacturer of the device, they can search the support section of their website for driver software."

Can I do this with my 64-bit laptop forgotten, or is there still a possible solution ...

greeting

Windows Vista 64bits is fully buggy. Even after the driver problem fixed, you will certainly meet other problems with our software, because we were not able to find a workaround for all of them. We strongly suggest you to install Windows Seven.
