Drivers on XP 2002 SP1 [fixed]

Trying to install the 100 cable onto my old Dell... its running windows XP SP1 2002... and says that it is not compatible...
i read that the cable drivers are compatible with XP... has this changed.

I can't remember but I think I you need SP2 at least (go up to SP3 preferably)

The message "interface not compatible" in ControlBoard means software and interface come from different brands.

I think Microsoft doesn't even support XP unless it is at Service Pack 3. I would make sure your machine is fully up to date and that includes the hardware drivers and BIOS.
