USB Cable fault

I've got the usb cable when i plug the usb in the programme finds it fine when plugged in to the lights it is very intermittent. when everything is sitting there the lights flicker but when you move the usb it stops and just stays still the way it should. I've tried it in 3 different laptops and 2 desktop computer it still does the same its like the connection from the usb dongle just does not connect properly can you help please

P.s. it was put on xp, vista and win7

In order to know if problem is exclusively with your computer or not, please try with another computer.

As I said in the last post I've tried it in 3 different laptops and 2 desktop computer that's a total of 5 different computers its like the terminal isn't getting a good connection but if its moved about it make a better connection. I also tried it in 2 different hubs still the same

right i've just had one light plugged in same again the light flicks had when i move the usb and put slight pressure it is then stable. I then done the same with the end termination and its the same it just seems to be the usb is not making a good connection at all

i can not remember where i bought it i got it online but cant remember what company it was from so is there any other way i can get this seen

I did have the same problem.
Solved it bij carefully open the cover
Then solder the usb connector again
It worked for me

didn't wont to take it apart but after seeing what you put ive now taken it apart only to find at the cable end 1 strand of the red cable connected and the other 2 twisted gonna have to get the soldering iorn out and connect it back hopefully that will sort it will let you all know thanks for the info marco. Found the bad design about it very bad soldering joint.
