The Lighting Controller

Hello,

I´m looking for a Computer controlled system like yours, and from what I can see and have read, it´s really looking good!

I have one question though: Is there any hardware "wings" that can be used with the system?
A wing with for example faders and wheels that kan be assigned within the system.

The current beta version has the following feature: midi to buttons & presets in Live
We will release in a few days a new beta version with the following feature: midi to dmx outputs
Both use the midi learn mode (means just press the midi button or move the midi wheel to patch it).

This idea is to make our software suitable for any existing midi device.

I have older USB hubs with inputs and outputs that with the patch panel I have used a variety of analog/digital lighting consoles as "wings". And I know plenty that have used a variety of midi devices as a "wing".

Is, for example, Enttec programing wing a device that will work?

We just checked the web page.
So far, this item is ethernet based (no Midi), so you could not use it with our software.

You must use a device with a Midi output.

Considering the new midi features are really new (only beta), we do not have yet the idea of best midi devices to use. Sorry for this.

May be other people (with more midi experience than us) could help you (?)

How do you set up a midi controller as a wing? Does the controller have to have dmx input to daisy chain the board to the lighting controller?
