The Lighting Controller

Hello. Very new to showxpress and excuse the lame question.
Will the 3d view (window) work (ie, light and movement) without an interface?
I am waiting for a 512S to arrive, however thought id get a head start creating the stage environment in 3d and setting up the lighting.
I have managed to do this fine, and all the fixtures 'seem' to be in the 3d window.
BUT:
- no fixtures work in 3D (LIGHT, movement, tilt pan etc ETC)
- selecting a 2d fixture does NOT also select in 3d.....so, hard to know what fixture one is working with in the 3d view (placement).

Hi John,
there is a button up the top of screens that allows you to output to the 3d view screen, make sure you press this, 3d view 100% works without an interface,

Yeah, nah....doesnt work. no idea what im doing wrong.
I loaded the DEMO (supplied with SX) and this didnt work either.
Could it be the Lap top im using??

grrr.......(frustrated sound)

Hey John, Odd, it would help to talk in real time, did you have discord? (i have sent my discord in your pm)
Also try updating your drivers for your graphics card
Im using a laptop and everything works

you need to make sure the fixture profiles are set to be able to be viewed in 3d
