DMX triggering in Editor

Hello,

Not sure if this is right topic, couldnt find a better one, sorry :D

It would be awesome if you can control the faders in de "Editor" with DMX. For all i know, you only can use DMX triggering in "Live" or as DMX input patch.

1
It is much easier to program moving heads XY with the scroller buttons on most DMX controllers.
But now, when I patch the scroll function xy to a DMX channel, the "Editor" doenst notices that, so you cant record your settings you have done with the scroll buttons on the controller.

2
Also, when you use DMX input patch, it seems it bypasses the "Editor" , so you cant see the dim settings in the "3D". If you can DMX control the "Editor" faders, you would see it in "3D" and it also would be sent to the DMX out.

Just my 2 cents, I love the software!

Asked this same thing years ago but they told me it wasn't going to come because then you also could use Sweetlight as 3D rendering program and this wasn't what Sweetlight wanted :)

Would be great to have this function though..... can you add it to version 7 ?

I like this idea. I know I would find ways to use it.
