Thanks. We disconnected everything but the Xpress 512 box earlier and have not reconnected anything. Is there any reason to believe it could be the 512 box? We have another we could try but it's the same model.

We have upgraded the fix file by adding two dylib files (for MacOS only): "efk_usb.dylib" and "efk_hardware.dylib"
There is no change in the code, but they have been freshly recompiled with the latest MacOS compiler (Xcode 14). Our experience says this could fix problems.

Please try with these two new dylib files and let us know.

Great stuff. We will reinstall the fix file on the machine. Will this affect only the sporadic crashing?

Just replaced these 2 files and after allowing permissions to run, Lighting controller will not open...gives error "Error loading library 'efk_hardware'

Is there another step that I have missed?

Thanks

Sorry, our mistake (due to MacOS security rules).

We have upgraded the fix file with new dylib files.
They should be ok now with your system.
Please reload the fix and try again the 2 dylib files.

Ok.

Perfect. Installed now and will see how this affects this. Should this address the syncing issues or only the crashes?

Thank you

1st test. Was screen recording the sync error for you through QuickTime saved file and quit QuickTime...Lighting Controller crashes. Sync issue still present. Crash happened after only changing a video file and playing back 3 or 4 times.

Hope this helps

The fix is only for the "random crashing" reported problem, without playing any video file.

Unfortunately it didn't fix anything.

Sorry
