The hardware of the Mac M1 is not compatible with the hardware of the previous Macbook & Mac Mini computers.
All applications running with the previous Macbook & Mac Mini computers need to use the "Rosetta2" translation technology in order to run.
This is indeed a huge change for Mac computers, and M1 and Rosetta2 are quite new.
There is wide range of usage with our software, so we may have missed problems.
We will follow closely all reported problems regarding Apple M1.
We will keep you informed in this thread.
In the meantime, if you plan to go for the new Apple M1 computer, we strongly suggest you to check it with your own lightshow, before using it in production. If any problem, please let us know.
