show created on windows won't open in mac

So trying to run Show Express off mac for first time, took the file for a local venue we've been building to run their house system. Can not get it to function in the mac for some reason, got it to open but none of the buttons do anything and then even weirder one of them turns on lights that it isn't programmed for and strobes them. Thoughts/places to start? THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!
