Fixtures with build-in patterns and speed
This might be a monumental programming task but would it be possible, with all these new fixtures that have come out with their build-in programs, to set up the fixture's speed channel to let the software know in live what channel value matches which tempo. I know it is almost impossible to just set...

Re: Screen oreintation refresh and BPM
As far as the play/pause and tempo, I did not get access to those functions on the phone and tablet.

Screen oreintation refresh and BPM
I just set up Live_mobile on both my ASAS Transformer Prime and Motorolla RAZR phone. I have notice a small issue: On the ASUS Transformer Primce running Ice Cream Sandwich, when I change the tablet from horizontal to vertical, the screen does not repaint the buttons and their size to change the but...

Sweet Light and Live_mobile on Asus Transformer Prime
My day job made me get an ASUS Transformer Prime. I had not messed around with Live_mobile until then and it was really easy to set up. My only wish is some sort of separate menue to do tap synch (windows based host machine runs Live.exe) or dial in my BPM.

Re: Extremely difficult suggestion...or is it?
I was thinking about going into mobile lighting since my day job traveling is slowing up. This is something I was worried about as venues and stages change. This would be a very welcome addition. I would really be happy to help in any way I can.

Re: interface patching question
Label your boxes, lable your USB wires and make sure you plug them into the same locations every time. That is the only way you are going to keep it from messing up.

Re: Router
Unrelated but as far as stopping Windows Updates from rebooting your computer, shut off the Windows Update service on your computer in services.msc. As far as the bandwidth issue, are you wired or wireless? If you are wired, you might want to invest in a fairly decent network switch. If you are usin...

Re: DMX-4 Controling Xmas Lites From Timeline
Something I noticed using dimmers on LED christmas light strings is that they are so efficient, dimmer level 0 still causes the LED lights to stay lit, though about 50% dimmer. I have not figured out a way to get them to shut completely off. That tells me power is still going through a par-can when ...

Re: Cue List Mode (Theater Mode)
You know, this might not be a bad idea for live concerts, too. Some of the ones with pre-made set lists you could build your entire show and then do the cue function to step through each scene as it comes with each song (unless the band is on a click-track, the timing is bound to get off) and then h...
