I cannot determine what triggers the group re-naming. I'm trying to watch for that. I only have 12 groups, but 3 have re-named themselves! I don't lose the group when it changes, it just calls it "Group A" instead of my custom ("All cans") name.
I am running 6.27-1

In the program "Setup" go to the tab "DMX addressing" right click a fixture and press "edit"
If you "edit" the name like that, you lose all your fixture settings: location of fixture, custom image of fixture, ...all messed up. I wish I could rename with losing everything!

Anyone had trouble losing their Group names? Some of my custom group names are changing their selves! Ex: I had a group called "side fills". Now it's called "Group s". "s" was previously the keyboard shortcut key. My "All cans" group (shortcut A) is now "Group A". Any ideas why this is happening?

I have been searching the manual and forum for info on fading out a scene. (I'm new, so patience please) How do you make a scene (from Live) fade out, instead of "cut" out? It seems like that would be a high priority for most live shows. thanks

Anyone know how to change the name of a fixture? On Editor screen, the names of the fixtures (just above the dmx channel strips) don't really make sense. How do I rename the fixture?
