The Lighting Controller

I have the XPress-Plus USB-DMX interface, SlimPar56 lights, and ShowXPress on a Laptop.

After my last show, I turned everything off, where it sat for 5 months.

Now, my lights will only respond when set as a 3-channel address. This happens from 2 different laptops.

I have replaced cables, updated ...

I would like to play a video on a timeline. When the video ends, I would like to display an image.

If I put a 2-min video on the timeline then put an image at 2:30, The image is presented when the timeline is started, displaying over the video.

Is there a way to do this?

I changed the default renderer setting in ScreenControl from Auto to the next one in the list. All items are displaying properly.

Not sure why it had to be changed, but I will make sure it is the selected setting from now on.

Media file for buttons will not display in Screen Control unless both are enabled at the same time.

Screen Control window no longer shows images. Videos play fine.
Happens with JPG and PNG file.
Can open them fine in Windows.

Any ideas?

Something happened to my ScreenControl Window. When I would Toggle FULL SCREEN, it would switch from my extended screen to my primary screen and cover up my ShowXPress window.

I could show borders and drag it to my second screen. But when I went to FULL SCREEN, it moved back to my main screen.

So ...

I create a timeline and put a pause in the middle somewhere.

From my Laptop, I can press SPACEBAR to continue past the Pause in the timeline.

If I am running the show with LiveMobile, how can I continue past the pause?

So far, I am LOVING the software. I am playing video and audio and am controlling my SlimPars just fine.

It would be useful to have the ability to program a set of midi commands that could be transmitted from the Software to my instruments on demand.

Ideally, I would create a batch of midi ...

Previously, I had the Community codec pack installed in working.

To resolve this issue I uninstalled and then downloaded the K-Lite codec pack and installed it. That fixed the issue.

So the lesson is that any video issues are probably related to codecs. And any update may affect an installed ...
