codec not found

Hello,
since the update to os Catalina on my MacBook and downloading the newest version of sweetlight I can not import any mp3 files to the timeline.
I get the announcement "codec not found"
Is this because something went wrong with the upgrade to Catalina or do I have to install something else ...
