Ok so... I'm not sure what you mean by "6 declared fixtures linked to two different models" ...?
Are you saying you can see the fixtures? Or only that you can see them in a list, but not in the actual fixtures window?
Can you please explain that more clearly.
What is confusing me here is that the ...

Re: Showxpress import from Win to Mac...help ASAP please
That was the original light show.
When I exported it, the new exported version had no fixtures, and the original lightshow had lost some of the scenes, and timelines.
"DFU timeline 1" was copied and pasted back in to this lightshow after I exported it - because I was trying to retrieve something of ...

Mac Users: Version 7.1.8 vs Version 8.2.18 ?
Hi everyone,
I've been reading through a lot of posts and have noticed a few people going back to 7.1.8 over 8.2.18 due to several issues, particularly Mac OS users using El Capitan (which I am as well).
Looking for an update on whether this is still a good move, or if other Mac users (on El ...

Re: Showxpress import from Win to Mac...help ASAP please
Hi there,
I've uploaded the zip file. If you load up "Falling Test" timeline into the Live tab, hopefully you can explain to me why the "Falling Test" loads up and plays fine, but the one "DFU Timeline 1" does not show any lighting working in the 3D viewer. This happened after I exported it, I wasn ...

Re: Showxpress import from Win to Mac...help ASAP please
Thank you, I did try that, but had the same result.
I will send the light show. Would different Mac OS be enough to cause that problem?
Exporting from El Capitan to edit in Yosemite.
Thank you.

Re: Export/Import lightshow vs Copy/Paste lightshow folder
Additional question: should it work in theory, that if you want to keep editing a light show on one machine, but want to use a different laptop for rehearsals and live performances, in order to "update" the light show on the "performance" laptop, you should just be able to copy paste in the new ...

Re: Export/Import lightshow vs Copy/Paste lightshow folder
Is there a reason that the fixtures don't export when I export the light show from El Capitan? I tried copy pasting them in to the folders, in the correct sub folders, they show up as being there in the folder directory, but do not load. I also found that some scenes created did not export, again ...

Re: [El Capitan] - Showxpress Crashes after about 15 minutes
Can someone share a link where I can download Showxpress 7.1.8?
I'm using El Capitan and am noticing similar issues. Can't find a download link for it though!
Thanks heaps

Re: Showxpress import from Win to Mac...help ASAP please
So it's May 2017, and I'm experiencing the same problem. I export a lightshow and it doesn't save the fixtures. Rather frustrating if you are forced to build the lightshow on the laptop you want to use live and can't use any other machine to do the work and then export it.
