DMX into computer for control
How do I get a DMX signal into my computer. I know the older dongle had output and Input but the new ones don’t. What device do I need to get a DMX signal into the computer so I can use a DMX wall control to run scenes on showxpress.

Got the answer. File - preferences. 2 universes.
I was thinking it showed the number of universes when it opened up but it only shows the number of interfaces. Lesson learned.

D1024 only one universe [fixed]
Why is showxpress only showing 1 universe from D1024. Windows 10 shows it as d1024 usb device. I try to update and it said it was already updated. It shows 3 arnets though. I have the latest showxpress software too.

Not sure if this has been suggested, but I’ve seen this in other media (ex video switcher) software.
Might be nice for the ones that use strictly ArtNet, if there was USB key that would unlock the universes as purchased without the need to hook up a dongle.
