The Lighting Controller

I downloaded V9 as V8 (which was working just fine) started freezing on me. I've also downloaded the drivers as well. I have a Windows 10 64 bit operating system. I can't get a connection PC to my Xpress 512. Any ideas/thoughts to get this back up and going?

I'm looking at the Chauvet website https://www.chauvetdj.com/showxpress/and the only option I see is V8.1.29 I do see that my version is 8.2.4. Where else would I find the newest update?

I created 4 steps. I hit the play button and nothing happens. In the tutorial videos I saw the timing loop, The timing on mine doesn't move at all. I can click on the steps, and the steps created will show. How do I play this scene that I created?
