The Lighting Controller

I work for a small Texas Country band. I'm the tech guy, in charge of setting up and running the FOH system, IEMs, and now, lights. We've been lucky to have a little funding thrown our way and have invested in 5 RGB bars, 8 RGB par56s, a couple of wash panels, some Chauvet 6 Spots, and 4 RGB ...

Ok cool, so I would make it a preset button? Then I could assign a midi channel to, the button, or is there a selection for the preset level?

Is there a way of mapping to a controller step changes? So next step would be a button?
