The Lighting Controller

Hi, I just downloaded and installed the Lightning Controller version 8 on my macbook air;
Unfortunately, it will not start. This is the error I get: library efk_hardware not found.

Previously version 7 ran without a problem;
I cn't run that anymore too, because I have already deleted it... :O(
