AFAIK, the software depends on the PC/Mac abilities to play any media file, if it is not up to the task - for any reason - that might be a problem: a 60 min audio file is quite big...

Hi there, I'm looking for completely silent fixtures that have enough power to light up a full string orchestra (+/- 25 people), no fans allowed as you might guess; suggestions ?
I had mixed results with Showtec PC600Z for example: no fan, ok, but continuous high pitch...

Nice machine ! As you don't use a separate audio interface but the internal one, I would suggest trying ASIO4All (100% free), it will reduce latency for sure, but to be honest I'm not sure it will cure your problem...

I would suspect an issue with the SlimPar56 7 channels mode... are you sure the dimmer (ch7) is at 100 %, while channels 4 to 6 are set to 0 ?

Both are possible... but not at the same time !
Spectral analysis - and separation seems to me unavoidable, expansion/compression of the dynamics too, but it could be "under the hood" indeed...
