Button overriding other scenes

HI, I'm running showexpress with a 512 on windows.
My question is when in "Live" I have all my scenes set, (keep it simple and say i have 3 fixtures)
1:Color Stage wash(Par cans)
2: 16 Led pars, for chases
3:Vocal Spot (Par cans)

When I have my wash on(1) and a chase going(2) when I go to light up ...
