Thanks to you both!
In my case the background scene has several steps in it, crossfading between colors. If I put a piece of the background scene at the end of the timeline, it starts at the first step of background scene. But the original background scene may be on a different step at that point ...

Timeline End Transition?
I have a "background" light scene that runs constantly, plus several timelines that can be triggered to alter the lighting.
When each timeline comes to an end, the lights abruptly snap back to the background scene, and I'm looking for a way to smooth that transition.
Any suggestions/links are ...

Re: Choppy Fades?
Thanks Support! I did some testing with my Cable interface, and that worked like a charm. I assume the newer interfaces would behave similarly, and I guess my Box unit is showing it's age.

Choppy Fades?
When I have a scene which fades my dimmer pack up or down, it appears choppy (i.e., the fade isn't smooth, but appears staggered in obvious steps). Any idea if this is a hardware or software issue?

Re: I see only the 10 first fixtures
Sounds good, Luc! I have several pairs of RGBW units that I've combined into "one fixture," even though they are technically separate. Weird that it's capped at 10, but at least there are work-arounds

Re: I see only the 10 first fixtures
Thanks John!
Was aware of the 100 channels limitation, but didn't know about the 10 fixtures rule. I'll rearrange some things to make it work, and I appreciate your help with the clever patch fix.

I see only the 10 first fixtures
I'm having a strange problem when I plug in my Cable (Chauvet Xpress 100) interface.
My normal fixture addresses range from 1 to 146. However, when I plug in the Cable, it appends at 60 (see both images). The only difference between these two is plugging in the Cable and restarting the program.

Re: Converting .scex back to legacy .sce
Thanks for the replies!
I have the v6 Control Board, which lets me upload .sce files to Box.
Unfortunately, I started programming a new series of scenes in v8 before I realized there was a compatibility issue, so now I have several .scex files that I want to upload to Box.

Converting .scex back to legacy .sce
Is there a way to convert a .scex (new) scene back to the .sce (old) format?
I have the Box interface, but when I try to upload my .scex file to it, I receive an "Unsupported file format" error message. I assume converting to an .sce file would fix the problem.
Thanks!
