I re-installed the device driver and then I was able to get it working. Around the same time I was learning more about how the fixture responds to values on each of its 8 channels. Thanks again.

I'm using the Xpress 512 that has 1 universe. The PC-Link light never goes on even though the USB light comes on as soon as I plug in the USB cable. I believe that indicates where the problem is but doesn't tell me how to fix it. In Windows 7 Device ...

Hi, I have a no-name par can that works fine in manual (non-DMX) mode. I defined the fixture in ShowExpress and its 6 channels.
