Next major software version - Timeline - your wishes
Re: Next major software version - Timeline - your wishes
In timeline, when you add a steps scene, it will be in loop.
But a lot of time i want my steps scene to be display in one shot.
Could we have an option to setup if we want looping mode or not, by default ?
This option would be applied for each new steps scene added.
Thanks

This is what we wanted to do.
The added scene will always be "no loop" (play one shot and stop).
And it will be possible to set a number of loops or another duration.

The customizable number of loops option will be a very welcome feature

Well noted.
Happy to see we are all on the same line.

I think that using the "OFF" buton should still be possible too.
Sometimes it's faster than estimates the duration of the loop mode.

I've never found useful the "time from red marker" and "time from green marker" on the display. Maybe it is just a personal preference;
I recognize they give a cooler hacker/nasa look but never used that info for programming.
There's also a detail I miss from the old V6: it used to be a little bit more evident when a scene was playing VS when a scene was interrupted, especially with the X tool, compared to present versions.
See:
It is evident that nothing is playing in the first red area, while it feels something is still playing in the second one.
However it is probably already solved or taken into consideration by:

And again probably just a matter of personal preferences.in the next version of the software, the fade in/out options will be additional blocks before/behind the scene block.

Yes, we already planed to remove the infos "time from red/green marker".
Noted for "stop" tool.
Regarding fade in/out, yes we think it is more pro to add them instead of to substract them from the total duration of the scene.
