Fantastic Piece!!! a little bumpy set up but chauvet swept in great tech support.
i highly recommend as it is a inexpensive way to add 2 universes to showxpress.

This is not an interface for our software.
This is only a Artnet to dmx converter.
Our interfaces are here: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=5

In order to avoid misunderstanding, we added the mention "[error]" in the topic title.

Yeah, I was well aware that it still requires an interface that gives 512 channels of dmx and artnet.

But can you still explain how you did it, was it just plug and play or did you have to change some settings?

close to plug and play
safari would not open unit
but chrome fired it right up

set up ethernet address
log in to unit and address dmx a and b to appropriate channel,
activate art net and additional universes in lighting controller
add art net address to fixtures in art net universe a and that was it,
again for anyone reading :this interface isn't supported and may operate as such.

...but this device does work with Show Xpress, right? Where are we supposed to get support from? I guess Chauvet directly.

Hey mate, your best bet when looking for advice on that particular Chauvet product (the DMX-AN) would be to go to Chauvet directly, as you said.
