[El Capitan] 8.1 Crash [fixed]

While running version 8.1 on my Mac with the 512 plus interface I tried to also use PreSonus Audiobox USB and not only did it crash ShowXpress but it appears to have corrupted the installation. I had to reinstall 8.1 to get it working again.

When I run Personus Capture on my Persons Studio Live 16.4.2 board that seems to run fine but that is a firewire interface.

I did sound and lights for a 6 hour show last night and ShowXpress crashed several times in the course of the night.It restarted quickly and would then run for a fairly long time but it was a pretty big problem.

I don't know what the easy way to post or email it is. The show is a bunch of files in multiple directories. When I have emailed it before I have had to use YouSendIt with a link to download it. Is there an easier way?

By the way we ran the same show last night on a different Mac book and we had 1 crash during a 1-1/2 hour show.

First, you have to make a zip of of the complete lightshow folder.
Then if the zip file is too big, yes you can sent it via a cloud based file transfer service (like wetransfer.com).

We played with your lightshow (called "default") for some time (under MacOS), and we did not get any crash.
Could you please specify how to reproduce the problem ?

I wish I could say specifically:

- Thursday night it crashed multiple times for me on my computer over the course of five hours with Presonus Capture running in the background.
- Friday night it crashed once on another persons computer with nothing else running during a 1-1/2 hour show.
- Saturday night it ran fine for me for 5 hours on my computer with nothing else running.

All nights included exercising pretty much all of the show features.

All systems were Macs.

The first two nights the wireless DMX was glitching a bit due to an antenna problem. Would that somehow feed back into the software through the interface? I found and fixed the antenna issue for the 3rd night.
