Show PC IP address for Live_Mobile [fixed]

It would really help to have the PC's IP address shown on the Live screen to make configuring Live Mobile easier.

Just lest steps than going to Start\Run then "CMD", then "ipconfig". Not sure of a better way for when you are on the spot...

It could be very useful for PC to PC applications as well. An auto scan for Live mobile service or ports would be "the holy grail" so to speak. Then you can just select a host from the scan list. But showing the IP would deffinately help and should be easier to implement.

I have seen this feature and like it, but it seems too burried where it is. Can it fit / be put under the Live screen and Prefferences? It just seems to make more sense.

Even if the IP could be displayed out on the Control Board, under interface connection status makes more sense for the average user. Then we just minimise Live for a sencond to see the information.

As a mobile guy, I am always on different networks when I play. My SX & the Live screen auto starts up on booting the laptop. So it is still easier just do a Windows Run, then Ipconfig. Live is just really the only screen that I need the info on. When setting up (with the hours it already takes) information right in front of me is a big plus, over digging a few levels to get to it.

I hate to sound ungrateful, as I really do appreciate it. I just feel putting it out in the open will help others get ready faster. Or non tech savy people have it right in front of them while starting up. Which is where putting it right on the Control Board would be nice. People would really see that and could get to it fast.

We understand.
The IP is displayed in ControlBoard, because ControlBoard is the center of all IP communications.
In reality, Live Mobile comminicates with ControlBoard (and not Live).

In that case, it still would go very nice right out on the front of the control board. The less steps the better when setting up, for me any way.
