"Disable" menu is grayed out

Postby shazammagic » 04 October 2016, 00:20

I'm attempting to upload a StandAlone scene to my interface (Chauvet Xpress 512), but the "disable" button is grayed out.

The drivers are up to date (and I can access the interface fine), and am using program v. 8.1.23 on Windows 10. Thanks in advance for your help!

Please send us your lightshow (viewtopic.php?f=3&t=168).
We will check that.

Sure thing. Thanks: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B91x1I ... sp=sharing

(FYI, when my interface is not plugged in, that dropdown menu is available, as is Upload and several others at the bottom)

We do not see this problem here.
Please confirm your interface is that one: viewtopic.php?f=17&t=31

I believe so. Here is the front ( https://drive.google.com/file/d/12kpEK1 ... sp=sharing ) and the back ( https://drive.google.com/file/d/1arNyVZ ... sp=sharing )

I have uploaded scenes to it in the past with no problems, using older versions of the software. Thanks for your help!

Your interface is not D512 ; it is Box (viewtopic.php?f=18&t=32).
We are presently not sure we could make V8 able to upload a scene in interface Box (V8 is borned in 2016, while Box has ended in 2009, which means technical problems).
In the meantime, please use V7 to upload the scene in this interface.

Ahh, excellent. Sorry for the confusion! (that model is discontinued by Chauvet, so I assumed it was replaced by Xpress 512)

Thanks for your help, and I'll download v7. Appreciate the prompt response, as always!
