Vista 64bits driver [fixed]

Post by jtorrence »

Was there ever any resolution to the USB100 / Vista 64 Bit driver issue using showexpress. The driver install complains about the INF file not having the proper entries. If the driver is available where can it be downloaded ?

We just uploaded new usb driver files: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=65
Howerver, we do not guarantee and we do not give support for our products under Vista 64bits, because this operating system is not stable.

I got a message saying I needed a digitally signed driver for ftbibus.sys. Do you have that available ?

Our drivers are not Digitally Signed.
You have to use key F8 (and change an option) at computer boot to disable the Digital Signature control, or to use a patch which does that automatically (you can easily find one with Google).

So what exactly is the process to start the driver installation from scratch ? I've unistalled and scan for new hardware, but it is not letting me select the location of the drivers ? Where should the drivers be for automatci location ? should I manually delete all teh driver files from the machine and reboot first ? How do I know if digital signatures are off ?
