Programming remotely if venue layout is known

Postby BriMan83 » 08 April 2024, 05:21

I feel like this would be a 3D viewer question, but please let me know if it should be somewhere else.

I need to build up a lightshow from scratch, for a venue I won't be able to physically set up in until about 12 hours before the event happens. I've been to the venue, taken measurements, and know exactly where my lights will be set up. Can the 3D viewer be used to build scenes, place the lights, etc. Basically do everything that would be needed to build a show so hopefully all I need to do once I'm at the venue and the lights are set up in plug the lights into the interface, the interface into my computer, and everything will be good to go?

Assuming there is, can anyone recommend any good training materials to help me learn how to set up and use the 3D viewer? I've never used this aspect of the program before, so I don't even know where to start with it.

Our 3D view is not perfect, but it is fast and easy.
It will be a good help to prepare a big part of your lightshow.
