[request] option to turn on/off the perpective

Postby djsounds » 14 October 2016, 19:23

Hello

Does the software have shortcuts to switch between top view, side view, front view, back view, etc.....?

Is it also possible to switch off perspective view?

Its hard to align light fixtures with trussing when perspective view is always on.

Thanks for your help.

No.
No.
We suggest you to use the option "auto align" (when "Object/Fixture settings" is open, right click on 3DView screen to see a popup menu with that option).

I tired auto align but now its throwing everything off.

When I try to move objects its locking to other fixtures.

How do I shut auto align off.

Please give us an option to turn perspective mode on or off.

This will allow us to move objects looking straight down at the floor plan.

Thank you

When the option "auto align" is selected, there is a small mark sign over the icon.
Just reselect the same menu to deselect it.

Noted for the perspective requirement.

Thank you as I am creating all my trusses using a CAD software and then exporting it as an OBJ file.

Therefore the align option does not see each truss as the OBJ file is one big file.

After I insert my OBJ file intro Showxpress all I do is add/move the light fixtures where needed to truss locations.

Having the ability to see the top view without the perspective mode on will allow me to move objects exactly where needed as opposed to seeing the view at a skewed angle.

I greatly appreciate this added feature.
