Midi controler

Post by djmigi »

Hi, I have a D512. I am new to this program. I need help with getting a midi controler work out in the Editor. I've got the lights to do what I want with them, but nothing happens in Channel Transition Area in the Editor. it is useless to me. What shall I do. what I have forgotten. Thanks

You can use a midi controller to play the lightshow (program "Live").
Not for programming light scenes (program Editor).

The dmx input is also only for live show.

The main reason is, in Editor, we need the following actions: left clik down, left click up, right click up, and we do not know how to do all of these with midi or dmx input.

can not find anything in the manual if left clik down, left click up, rightClick up.
But it's really just the Fixture Father Area which to work. It should not be so hard to make a program call on. but thanks anyway.

In the software developper side, we must be able to detect when you press the left button and, when you release the left button. There is a different software action to do for each.
